Caving/Spelunking |
Caving, otherwise known as spelunking is a unique adventure that explores the mysteries of the subterranean world. “Cool, Awesome, and I can’t wait to tell…” are common things that we hear from folks who join us on our underground adventures. Adventure In Adventure Out runs trips locally in Western Massachusetts to some smaller fissure caves from 25 feet long to 500 feet long and we venture to New York for a trip into a limestone dissolution cave that has ¾ of a mile of passage and chambers. |

- Go underground into a dark, wet, and mysterious environment that is both rugged and beautiful.

Rock Climbing & Rappelling |
Rock climbing & rappelling is one of the favorite activities for outdoor enthusiasts. This sport challenges climbers against their own perceived physical and mental limits in rugged outdoor locations. Adventure In Adventure Out can introduce your group safely to this thrilling sport. |

- Experience the joy and exhilaration of climbing on vertical rock.
- Challenge the physical body and expand your perceived limitations.
- Learn the local geology of the cliffs, boulders and outcroppings.
- Learn knot tying skills, climbing techniques and the safety systems for top rope climbing.
- Practice trust building while working as a team to safely belay each other and offer positive encouragement and support.

Canoeing & Kayaking |
Adventure In Adventure Out has a portable fleet of canoes and kayaks that we take to a variety of ponds, lakes, and rivers in Western Massachusetts. We run day trips as well as overnight excursions. Our trips are all quiet water, perfect for beginners and for wildlife observation. |

Accurate mapmaking and navigation instruments changed the course of outdoor exploration. Learn how to use these tools to find the way. This highly practical skill will help participants gain a sense of self-sufficiency to become explorers themselves. |

GPS Scavenger Hunt/Geocaching |
Technology meets the natural world in this exciting activity. Participants use Global Positions System (GPS) units and secret clues to locate hidden objects and work as a team to complete puzzles, riddles and other challenges before moving on. Teams draw on multiple skills and abilities to complete the course. This portable event can be brought to any outdoor location near you. |

- Understand how the global positioning system works through satellites.
- Work as a team to follow specific coordinates on a Scavenger Hunt to locate hidden boxes at each site and perform a team task, puzzle, or outdoor skill.

Tracking & Animal Sign |
In fields and forests animals leave clues and messages about their behavior. Your group can learn the language of the forest that tells the story of a dynamic environment. Tracking is a gateway to outdoor awareness and the basic ecology of a particular place. We can investigate the land at your location or take your group to some of the most spectacular and species rich environments in the state. |

- Reveal the stories about animal behavior while investigating their sign, habitat, tracks and tendencies.

The Great Raft Race |
Raft building has recently become one of our most popular activities. Teams work together to design and build a functional raft to carry them. Success can be targeted towards beating other teams, beating the clock or the best overall design. Smaller groups can work together to create one great raft. A great real-time teambuilding experience! |

Leadership Development |
Great leaders are not born, they are trained. Explicit skill development applied and practiced is the path to developing strong leaders. At Adventure In Adventure Out, we develop leaders by teaching specific skills and create a laboratory setting for those skills to be practiced. Through classroom teaching and interactive simulation activities participants have opportunities to practice and hone their skills while having a lot of fun. |
